Mr. Jerry Fuller, 73, of Salem, AL passed Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in Montgomery, AL.
Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at St. Paul C.M.E Church Crawford, AL with Rev. Dr. Raynetta Prevo-Williams, officiating. Visitation is Monday, January 3, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Fuller was born April 14, 1948 in Lee County, AL to the late Lillie Fuller-Walden and the late George "Bubba" Allen. He was reared by his grandparents, the late Charlie Lee and the late Rosie Lee Fuller. He was educated in the Lee County School System. He worked in his early years at Swift Textile, Columbus, GA and retired from Uniroyal-B.F. Goodrich, Opelika, AL.
On April 12, 1975 Jerry married his beloved Annie Rose "Dorothy" Johnson and to this union two children were born. Jerry loved his family and had many friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, grandparents and one brother, Alvin Walden. He is survived by daughter, Georgina (Joy) Jawand Wilburn of Moultrie, GA; son, Jerry Fuller, Jr. of Salem, AL; siblings, Sadie (James) Thomas, James Walden, Lillie Walden, William Walden all of Phenix City, AL, Susie A. Burkes of Smiths, AL and Wayne Lukerson of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, Ashanti Amerie, Jakorri Jerrion and Jakyle Dorone; two sisters-in-law, Diane Johnson and Ernestine Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Harry (Kate) Johnson and Darrell Johnson all of Salem, AL; a very special devoted nephew Gregory Thomas; 11 nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Uncle Jerry you will be missed... Glad to have a Uncle like you loving and caring and always did for ur family and always wanted to be around family.. True definition of a Goat... You always kept family laughing and always loved no matter what.. For all the good times we had I say thanks you.. Love ur loving nephew Tommy Ware
