Mr. JaQuan Barnes, 19, of Phenix City, AL passed Friday, May 14, 2021 in Phenix City, AL.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Crawford, AL with Rev. Marshall Morgan, officiating. Visitation is Friday, May 21, 2021 from 3 - 5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Barnes was born May 17, 2001 in Columbus, GA to LaTanya Cook - Barnes and James (Demetrice) Barnes. He attended school in the Lee County School District (Smiths Station) where he excelled in baseball and football. He was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors other than his parents include his siblings, Jai'Shawn (Kaeishla) Barnes, Jaylen Barnes, James Barnes, Jr., Treyvon Jones, Jasmine Barnes and China Barnes; grandparents, Frances Cook and Charles Cook; his girlfriend, Asiah Wiggins; other relatives and friends.
