Ms. Jacqueline Palmer, 57, of Jackson, MS passed, Saturday, November 20, 2022 in Jackson, MS.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm EST, Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Leander Charles Whitely, officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Ms. Palmer was born December 27, 1964 to the late Clara M. Coker Jones and the late Willie F. Cartwright. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Smiths Station, AL under the pastorage of the late Rev. Moses Morris. She served faithfully until she relocated to Jackson, Mississippi.
Ms. Palmer was educated in the Lee County School District and later went to the Job Corp in Crystal Spring, Mississippi. Once her training was completed, she became a licensed cosmetologist.
Ms. Palmer was preceded in death by a sister, Betty English.
Survivors include three sisters, Rosie Wilson, Brunswick, GA, Deborah Palmer, Smiths Station, AL and Margaret (Ernest) Mitchell, Canyon County, CA; aunts, Fannie Lamar, Shirley White, Frankie Phillips and Lamuriel Coker all of Smiths Station, AL; step brothers, Robert Jones and Dwight Jones both of Salem, AL; step sisters, Mary Frances Murphy, Phenix City, AL, Lori Jones and Annie Jones both of Ohio; special cousins who grew up as sisters, Carla Day and Lori Jones; special friends, Alonzo Edwards, Barbara Baldwin Roberson, Logan Taplen, Leadra Valentine; her pastor Rev. Earnest Brock and church family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one, Jacqueline "Jackie". Jackie was an amazing person, and we will never forget all the happy memories we made together at New Deliverance M.B. Church. I know it's hard to find peace during this time of sorrow, but please know that we are just a phone call away to help in any way we can. May Jacqueline's soul rest in peace, and your family finds comfort in God during this hard time.
