Mr. Gregory Thompson, 56, formerly of Columbus, GA passed Tuesday May, 19, 2020 in Woodbridge, VA.

Gregory Allen Thompson was born April 4, 1964 at Ft. Benning, GA to the late SFC Jesse and the late Jessie D. Thompson. He was a 1982 graduate of Columbus High School, member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Arlington, served in the United States Air Force, received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from National Louis University, worked as a Civil Servant Employee, Chief of the United States Air Force Art Program at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He was also a Security Officer at the U.S. State Department, Washington, D.C. for over 15 years. He was the owner of Made to Measure, Custom Tailor clothing business and was part-owner and partner with Howard Wallace.

Cherishing his memories and mourning his loss: his beloved son, Giovanni A. Thompson of (Indianapolis, Indiana); two sisters; Elizabeth A. Thompson-Holt (Columbus, GA); Veneda J. Thompson (Macon, GA); two brothers; Michael J. Thompson (Charlotte, NC); Walter S. Thompson (Notasulga, AL), and one aunt Sally Harris (Columbus, GA), one Great-Uncle Winston Moton (Lagrange, GA), one niece, four nephews, six great-nieces, six great-nephews. Special and devoted friends: Howard (Chuck) Wallace and Harriet Stephens and numerous loving and loyal friends.
