It is with profound saddness and overwhelming grief that we express our deepest sympathy at the loss of our dear and so very loved, Edna.
It is equally as painful that we aren't able to be with you family as you celebrate her life. One that was so very well lived. Due to the Pandemic, we aren't able to join you in this beautiful yet solemn celebration. But please know that you all are on our minds and in our hearts.
We will forever miss our dear and so loved, Edna. She was a precious jewel. She was kind, lovely, gentle, humbled, a born again christian who never spoke above a whisper but with an affectious smile. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. To know her was to love her and to love her deeply. God must have desired a flower because he plucked one of best from us.
Although Edna has departed from this life she will never depart from our love and our hearts. We will cherish the beautiful memories we have of her, forever.
May God comfort your hearts and grant you peace as you each celebrate her life. We love you family. May God keep each of you in his loving care.

To the family of the late Edna-Upshaw-Brooks. Husband Jack and children's TaJuan, Tasha and grandchildren also sisters and brother. Nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. All of our hearts are heavy right now and the pain almost unbearable. But soon this pain will be replaced with precious memories that will always be cherish! Those memories you will guard them and only share with ones that you feel is worthy of knowing just how precious she was, meek, beautiful personality, soft spoken, and always had a smile on her face. The separation is temporary but when we meet our love ones again There will be "No more separation". What a joyfully reunion it will be. With joy in our hearts I can say I pray to God that I will see you later. Love always. Evon Miles-Joseph
