Dr. Malcolm Goodchild, 50, passed on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. EST, Friday, September 20, 2024 at New Birth Outreach Church, 10107 Veterans Parkway, Midland, GA with Pastor Carlos Coleman, officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 from 2 - 4 p.m. EST at New Birth Outreach Church, 10107 Veterans
Parkway, Midland GA.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Malcolm Ingram Goodchild, who tragically lost his life on September 7, 2024, following a horrific traffic collision. Malcolm was 50 years old.


Born on November 27, 1973, Malcolm was a man of exceptional character, known for his profound commitment to his family and his profession. He was the beloved son of Malcom and Claudette Goodchild, and a devoted husband to Charleen Charmaine
Goodchild.

As a father, Malcolm was a source of immense pride and love for his children: Rebecca, Rachel, and Christopher. Malcolm was also a cherished brother to Michael, Simonne, Marlon, Deslyn, and Michele. His relationships with his siblings were characterized by warmth, humor, and a deep sense of connection that will be remembered fondly.

A gifted and dedicated surgeon, Malcolm recently celebrated the first anniversary of his private practice, a testament to his commitment and excellence in his field. His professional achievements were a source of great pride for his family and a reflection of
his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of others.


Malcolm’s life was marked by his love for his family, his professional passion, and his dedication to those around him. His sudden and untimely passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.


Dr. Malcolm Ingram Goodchild legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will forever live on in
the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. Rest in peace, Malcolm. You will be
deeply missed and fondly remembered.
