It was a joy to watch D'Miya grow from a little girl in Greater Mt. Zion to a beautiful little lady so full of life. When the choir would sing she would stand up, clap her hands, & sing with them. D'Miya was so sweet everytime you saw her in church with her Grandmother Mrs. Phyllis she was always smiling. To the family, everyone loved D'Miya but the Lord loved her best. Loving, Kind, Sweet, Campassionate are just a few words to describe D'Miya. She was one of the most loving students I knew. My most fondiest memory of D'Miya was days when she would sit in the back office, hide from me and wait for her mom to pick her up. (lol) We often met at the salon to get "get pretty" for the week. D'Miya was one of the sweetest babies that I have ever met. She would come to my office and say "My mom is coming to get me. Can I stay up here with you." D'Miya was in my third grade reading class. I will never forget seeing her read a chapter book while at a CHS football game. She was always such a hard worker and an excellent student.
