Cynthia will always be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, family and friend to many.
Cynthia was born June 12, 1957 in Lee County, Alabama to the late Clyde Johnson, Sr. and Frazzie L. Johnson. Cynthia graduated from Smith Station High School and was educated at Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
Cynthia professed her life to Christ at an early age and joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Cynthia worked in the Health Care Industry for Cobb Memorial Hospital, The Medical Center and Piedmont Columbus Regional her entire career. Cynthia loved to spend quality time with her mother, enjoying music (The Parkmans’ CD), shopping, eating out (Chinese food), supporting Alabama football (Family Member's Alma Mater), laughing and always wearing a smile on her face.
She was a loving and caring person, devoted daughter, wonderful sister, godmother, dedicated employee, mentor and friend, always thinking of others first. She was a strong woman (detested confrontation) yet, her faith elevated her to the level of “amazing.” “To know her was to love her.”
Cynthia leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother, Frazzie Lee Johnson; siblings, Nita Parker of Phenix City, AL, Pat Jones Hudson (Robert) of Montgomery, AL., Rachel Kelly of Columbus, GA. and Clyde Johnson, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama; a special, caring friend, Kenneth Wilson of Hampton, GA and a host of loving relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
