Donna Marie Woodruff, 59, succumbed to her medical challenges on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Donna was born on December 18, 1962, in Bartow, Florida to the late Donald C. Woodruff I and Nellie C. Woodruff. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Tallahassee Florida. She will be interred in Bartow, Florida, Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Woodruff. She is survived by her mother, Nellie C. Woodruff; sister and brother-in-law, Andrea Colette and Hani Abiyounes; brother, Donald C. Woodruff II; uncle and aunt, Henry and Alice Council, aunt, Minnie Woodruff; along with numerous cousins, other family members and friends. Growing up in Tallahassee afforded Donna many opportunities to pursue her education. She graduated from Florida High School and received two bachelors degrees from Florida State University and Florida A&M University. She also received two masters degrees from Oklahoma State University and Florida A&M University respectively. She pledged and was inducted into Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Florida State University. Donna began her professional career at Walmart where she worked for over 30 years while also working for about 16 years for Apalachee Elementary School. She was an avid reader and was rarely seen without a book. Additionally, she was a loyal and caring friend, loving daughter sister, niece, cousin, and faithful member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
