Jacqueline Thomas, 98, transitioned to her eternal home on Monday, June 21, in Tallahassee, Florida. She is survived by her devoted family; son, Lawson (Barbara) of Atlanta; grandson Byron (Margo) of Tallahassee; granddaughter Lesley Thomas (LoRandy) of Atlanta; step-granddaughter Amy Perkins (Monica) of Knoxville; great-grandsons, Ryan Hill and Bryson Starks of Atlanta; great-granddaughter Antonia Agenor (Lovensky) of Jacksonville; great-great grandchildren, Ryan Jr. and Rhyan Hill, Alexander and Abigail Agenor; nephews John Charles Thomas (Laurise), Carl Williams (Elisa); great-nieces Brittany Minor, Courtney Thomas, Imani Thomas, Jasmyn Henderson, Angela Renee Kelly, as well as many close family friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Maxwell S. Thomas; father William Holloway; mother Margaret Holloway McCoy; stepfather LeRoy McCoy; stepsister Rhunette McCoy Moore; nephew Frederick “Pompey” Kelly, and step-grandson Allen Perkins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 am at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
