I was never fortunate enough to meet her in person but heard so many stories about her from her sister, Valerie. We had many a conversation about Jan when walking our dogs. Her legacy lives on through those many people she has touched, directly and indirectly.

My condolences goes out to the family of such a wonderful, kind, beautiful and nice person. Mrs. Stone was such a nice, soft spoken and kind individual that helped anyone that was in need when meeting with families and condoling families that had lost their love ones and now we must console her family as she has done for many people in Brevard County. She was such a fair and loving person with a beautiful smile that always helped uplifted families during their grievance. She is really going to be missed, but always loved. The last time I spoke with her, she wanted to meet my two young son's that is her her step grandkids. She said "We must go out to Lunch one day with the boys", which is her stepdaughter nephews.
