Stephanie Simmons Sheffield was born on September 5, 1962 in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late, Jimmie Mack and Eunice Simmons Pack. She graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood High School in 1981. She met Steven Sheffield in 1992 and in 2000 she married him. She worked as a teller for Riverside National Bank and a Customer Service Representative for Any Kinds Check Cashed for many years,
She became disabled in 2005 and dedicated her remaining time with her husband and family. She enjoyed softball, playing cards and watching sports.
Stephanie is survived by her husband Steven Sheffield, stepson, Charles Sheffield; step daughter, Lydia Sheffield; 4 step grandchildren; Brothers, Dr. Andre Williams and Alexander (Robin) Brooks III; Sisters, Patrice Johnson and Alice Zandra Boatwright; Uncles:Earl (Fannie) Simmons and Henry (Rose) Simmons: Nephews, Brian Alexander Jr., Anthony Johnson Jr, Brian A. Alexander, Antwan Johnson and Joshua Haugabook; Nieces, Antrecia Johnson, Bianca Haugabook, Eunecia Johnson, Brittany Johnson and Anyshia Johnson. 8 great nephews and 5 great nieces. Special Cousin Gloria Gilmore and a host of cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Mother in law, Lillie Mae Sheffield; grandparents Carolina Simmons and Redis Jackson, Ruth and William Clarke, sister Nikki Mack, sister in law, Leslie Williams; uncle, Richard Simmons; aunt, Louise Simmons Johnson.
Visitation for Mrs. Stephanie Sheffield will take place on Friday, February 28,2020 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A Service of Memory Celebrating The Life Of Stephanie convene on Saturday, February 29,2020 at 10:00am at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL.
