THE LEGACY AND LIFE OF A TRUE QUEEN AND ACTIVIST KAREN RENEE JORDAN-WYATT “Renee” Ma Manager, Community Activist, Public Relations, Prayer Warrior, Counselor, Leader, Entrepreneur, Dance Choreography, Socialite these are just a few titles of her great works she leaves behind here on earth. God has prepared her new assignments with other great titles. Renee born to Willie Paul Jordan and Naomi Ruth Butler Jordan-Adams born on August 13, 1957 in the grand city of Fort Pierce Florida. Renee, was the baby of six sibling: Donald, Vivian, Curtis, Clayton (Deceased) and Paul.
Soror Karen Renee’s Education - Professional Involvements and Affiliations: Renee completed her High School education as a “Fighting Cobra” at Fort Pierce Central High School the year of 1975. Renee exceled as a Cheerleader, part of the Drama Club and other various activities during her attendance as a Cobra at Fort Pierce Central.
Renee continued on with high expectations and determination through higher learning at the University of South Florida, Tampa Florida. She later enrolled at Bethune Cookman College, Daytona Beach, Florida. During her tenure as an educator in Saint Lucie County she continued her Master studies at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. Renee pledging was one of her highest achievements she became a Soror as a member of the “awesome and monumental blue and white” Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc while attending the University of South Florida. Soror Renee, was active with the youth group the “Arconettes.” Within the community and abroad the sorority primary focus is education/academics, providing scholarships, development of the young ladies, sisterly love, the organization and the youth group appearance in step shows, parade participation and other activities within the community. Renee Educator, Criminal Justice/Probation, Certificate of Divinity, Dance Instructor, Council on Aging/ Golden Guys and Girls Participation (Praise Dances) CEO/ Founder of the Community Outreach Youth Program (COYP), Leader/Founder/ and Director of Christmas on Ave D., NAACP Activist, Saint Lucie County Voter’s Registration Drive, Lion’s Club of Saint Lucie County, Restoring the Village Youth Initiative, National Preventing Crime In the Black Community Youth Conference, Martin Luther King Commemorative Committee of Saint Lucie County, Nora Neale Hurston Festival. Soror Renee, was always volunteering and very active within the community her love of service and dedication will always be remembered.

Public visitation for Karen Renee Jordan-Wyatt will take place on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL which will be followed by the Omega Service of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
