Jonathan Jontae Joseph, affectionately known to his family and friends as “Jon Jon,” was born to the proud parents, Sharon Joseph and Jonas Joseph on October 8, 1998 in Fort Pierce, FL. Jon Jon was a loving and caring individual who loved his family and friends. He attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County and ultimately made it to Fort Pierce Westwood Academy, The WEST Prep. Upon completion of his secondary education, he acquired a job at The Part House of which he held for three years. The last position that he served in on that job was that of a supervisor, in addition to getting a raise in pay.
Jonathan enjoyed fishing everyday and being with his family. The pride and joy of his life was his son. He was a very hardworking man. Jonathan always made sure everyone had a smile on their face.
The time of departure came for Jonathan on September 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Curly Daniels, Riley Shelton, Silvane Perrie, Jesilhome Joseph; uncles: Michael Kelly, Johnny Daniels, and Willie Daniels.
Left to cherish his memories are his son: Jasiah Joseph; mother: Sharon(Robert)Joseph; father: Jonas(Minouche)Joseph; fiancé: Brittany Blake; bonus mom: Cynthia Aranaha; sisters: Mikeillia Baker, Makayla Joseph; step sister: Annive Alexis; brother: Jonas Joseph, Jr.; step brothers: Cheddly Alexis, Smy Gedon; aunts: Connie Daniels, Hilda Jackson, Takisha Brianvil, Katrina Ellis, Dorothy Nelloms, Barbara Harrington, Dorothy Hambrick, Rosett Joseph, Patricia Coleman; uncles: Remy Joseph, Riley Shelton, T Baby Alexander, Anthony Shelton; nieces: Zylyriah, Javeyah; nephew: Tyrone Jr.; cousins: Mike, Jojo, Jessica, Julie, Rara, Jentinia, Peaches, Makayla, Mkhyle, Monecia, Tina, Juanita, Shontae, Fred, Torri, Vivian; godfather: Jounel Noimil; special friends: Mr. Stevenson, Benji, Marcos, Chase, Pollo, Antonio, Owen, Rodney, Chris, Ceasar, Hats, Flacco, Jacob, Cameron, Taytay, Devon; and a host of other family member and friends who will miss him dearly.
Public visitation for Jonathan Jontae Joseph will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
