Obituary For Cedric Deon Parker

Cedric Deon Parker, Sr. “Snake,” 49, passed on August 24, 2021. He was born in Fort Pierce, FL January 22, 1972 to the late Willie Parker and Debra White Parker. He is survived by three siblings: Latisha, Cypriana, and Jonia.

During his childhood days, he loved playing marbles with his oldest sister and playing baseball. He attended the public schools of saint Lucie county including, Northport Middle and Lincoln Park Academy. Growing up in Fort Pierce, Cedric met most of his closest friends hanging out on “Slay Corner.” That’s where he gained the name “Snake.”

He met Kizzy in 1993. He loved her for 28 years always and forever. Throughout the years, they welcomed six kids into the world: Shawntairie, Cedric Jr., Cedravius, Cedarius, Cedrica, and Cedtron Parker. In 2014, he became a grandfather to Camia; and then to Amari in 2015. Family was everything to Cedric. He loved and protected his family. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to provide for his family. Cedric had a love for cars. His first car that he fell in love with was a 1986 Chevy Impala. He painted it Candy Blue with peanut butter insides and 22 inch rims. He really loved that car, for that was his baby.

His main hangout spot was at his Uncle White’s house on Avenue Q. He would be the first one there if nobody else was there. We will truly miss the times we shared with Cedric on Avenue Q. The music, the barbecues, his dancing, fake crying noises, joking, shouting, playing cards, foot racing, bike racing, and much more. He always kept the biggest smile on his face when all his family was around, so we know that he’s smiling down on us right now.

Cedric was a devoted father and a hard worker. He worked at Spanish Lakes and Maverick. He enjoyed fishing, dirt bikes, music, cars, rims, and football. His favorite team were the Indianapolis Colts. He was definitely the life of the party. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Cedric loved clowning around and making his loved ones laugh. His favorite food was steak and ribs. He loved cooking on the grill and had no problem telling you that he was the best at it. His favorite time of the year had to be football season (Super Bowl), because that is when he showed the most excitement. If he was winning, you would know it. If he were losing, he might just unplug the tv.

Snake really loved bike racing. He would bet anything on “Big Boss.” That’s right! He loved that bike. Anytime there was a race, he wanted to be right there to support. He enjoyed hanging out with his cousin Cello and Bone. He also loved visiting his cousin Zeggeree “BayBay” in Orlando. He would often talk about how much fun he would have and that he would soon be moving to Orlando someday. They would travel to different places, to bike races, and have the time of their lives. Talk to Mel. Cedric “Snake” gave us a lifetime of love during his time on earth.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie White; grandfather, Julius White, Sr.; father, Willie Earl Parker.

Left to cherish his precious memories on earth are his mother, Debra Parker; children, Cedrica Parker, cedtron Parker, Cedravius Parker, Cedarius Parker, Cedric Parker, Jr.; grandchildren, Camia Walker and Camari Hope; girlfriend, Kizzy Brown; sisters, Latisha Parker, Jonia Charles, Cypriana Gayle; aunts, Sebrina White, Janice(Bill)Clover, Eularine Brint, Patricia Starlings, Marguree Knoghten; uncles, Julius White III and Rufus Starlings; nephew, Algernon Duncan, Jr.; nieces, Jae’Vianni griffin, A’Riah Bradley, Ja’myla Davis; first cousins, Zeggaree(Towanda)White, Marcellus Wright, Tavares Clover, Martin Clover, Oneida Young, Tonya White, Lauretts Walker, Brian Bigham, Trisco Adams, Terrell Adams, Ayoka Adams, and a host of other family members and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.

Public visitation for Cedric Deon Parker will take place on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
