Born in Kingston Saint Andrew on January 8, 1954. She was the product of the union of Joyce Gordon and Ephrem West. Being the third child of her mother, who had four children in total. Barbara, Delroy, Rose-Marie aka Rose. Beverly and Rose were inseparable from they were children. With love in her heart, she ventured out to find her other siblings.
After her formative years of school, Beverley then followed up with trade school where she learned dressmaking. She soon discovered she had a passion for business in merchandising aka buy n sell. With this flare, she became a serial entrepreneur with a series of small shops and stalls all around Kingston. She continued working on her business ventures until the opportunity came for her and Rose to visit the United States. Such was the caring nature of Beverley and her baby sister Rose that once they arrived in Fort Pierce, they remained to care for their ailing father until he passed. The new life that Beverley and Rose found in Florida strengthened their bond even more than they had in Jamaica as they both worked with a new drive to bring the children they left behind to the great USA.
Sadly, she lost her two eldest sons Dennis and Nicholas, which cemented her resolve to reunite her surviving daughters Natalie Hamilton and Sabrina Falloon.
Beverley leaves behind a rich legacy of grand and great-grandchildren which came from three of her four children. She loved and cared for them all.
We are pleased to tell you of the good news and the reason we are here to celebrate this marvelous woman, to tell you that while her body lays here, the story of Beverley West-Albert does not end here but begins here, for to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord, Beverley was always a God-fearing woman but soon learned that God-fearing meant learning what the word of God said and being obedient to what it said.
Beverley started to attend church at Apostolic Temple International, where she soon fell in love with what she heard.
She had known quite a few people who were attending and decided that this would be her church from now on.
And like any good disciple who has found something good, she immediately got on the phone and called her longtime friends Mrs. Erma Patterson and Celeste and compelled them to come, telling about the word of God that she had learned. Beverly would say to people she evangelizes to that if you don’t feel at home or agree with you can always leave.
On the 4th of May 2019 be exact, Beverley West-Albert was buried in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and rose to walk in the newness of life having put on Christ.
Shortly after while at a prayer meeting at her house she burst into an unknown tongue as the spirit gave utterance, thus fulfilling the scriptures that say unless a man is born of the water and the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom. Having Fulfilled the requirements for eternal life, we can celebrate and rejoice, knowing that she has passed from death to life and is now in the arms of Jesus, Rejoicing around the throne.
Beverley was not just content with finding eternal life for herself but commanded those she knew and loved, to find it also, the evidence of her work remains to this day in the form of sister Erma Patterson and is also buried in the name of Jesus in baptism and being filled with the Holy Ghost, for we heard her speak in tongues the Spirit gave utterance. She was also joined in like precious faith by her beloved daughter Natalie Hamilton and granddaughters Natalia Hamilton and Arabella Falloon whom all took on the name of Jesus Christ in baptism.
She fell asleep knowing that her legacy was secure, having no more cares of this life she has gone on to wait for us remaining to follow.
