Simmie Lee Phillips, Jr., age 54 of Valdosta, Georgia was born on April 13, 1969. He departed this life on Saturday, December 31, 2023.

Simmie is preceded in death by his father, Simmie Lee Phillips, Sr., mother Mary Alice King and two brothers-in-law, Courtney and Demetri Reynolds.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife La'Toya Reynolds-Phillips; three daughters, Takia, Samiyah and Malaysia Phillips; bonus daughter, Qushondra Foster; son, Simmie Foster; grandchildren, Kazyiah Harris, Samyiah Glover, Sha'Harmony Foster and Kamarley Mency; four sisters, Laura Joyce (James), Mattie Phillips (Eugene), Katie Berry (Joseph) and Mary Horton (Cedric); brother, Sammie Phillips (Linda); mother-in-law, Sarah Reynolds (Robert); brother-in-law, Ricardo Reynolds (Chavonne); and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation services will be Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Evelyn McGhee Repast Center at 2PM.
