A Time to Live…
Ms. Rosa Lee Hallman was born on March 1, 1938 to the late Mr. Alla Hallman and Mrs. Lucy Hallman of Dixie, Georgia. She was educated in the Brooks County School system. She was employed at BC Packing Company in Quitman, Georgia for multiple years. She retired from Alden Leeds, Inc. in New Jersey, after 30 years of supervising. She worked hard with her hands and planted the lands. Overall, she was a beautiful, hard-working black Queen. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Fellowship Studies.
Ms. Rosa Lee Hallman’s health started failing in 2015. Her niece Tammy Reynolds became her caregiver in 2017 and remained so until Ms. Rosa Lee gained her wings on May 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Carolyn Hallman, her companion Fred Johnson, her siblings Catherine, Pinkie, Evelyn, Ann, Torrey, Jessie, Alfalee and Alfonso Hallman all of Dixie, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her niece/caregiver Tammy Reynolds, Dixie, GA; her God son Tony Jackson (Natalie); her grandsons Timothy Hallman and Curtis Hallman; her nieces Nicole Hallman and Angelica Hallman all of Valdosta, Georgia; her God sister Verdia Reynolds, Dixie, GA and Mary Hallman, Valdosta, GA and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 5PM-7PM.
