~ Obituary ~
On September 21st 1955, Patricia Ann Myers was born to the late James Alexander of Madison, FL and Myrtice Lee James of Quitman, GA. Patricia married James Myers of Valdosta and conceived two children, Charisma Myers of Valdosta GA and Andrea Myers of Valdosta GA. She also has a bonus son from the marriage, James Myers of California.
Patricia served 13 years in the United States Army as a Dental Hygienist. After leaving the Army and moving back to Georgia, she attended Valdosta Technical College and obtained a degree in the Surgical Technology Program. Patricia also worked for Dr. Michael Marable in Valdosta, GA and had a long-lasting career at SAFT of America, where she retired.
We would like to mention and thank two of her special friends, Shirley Golden and Laverne Terrell, her additional family and bonus children, Jaffe, Amber, Tamikielle, Gabriele, Bria, Demetris, Danielle and God daughter, Ebony Hunter. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, April Myers, Bre’Onna Myers, DeAndre Myers, TaI’Lor Myers Jeremiah Myers, Sharrod Smith, Ariah Myers, Chancellor Myers and a great grandchild, Kyra Lakes. Her sisters, Brenda Rose, Jeanette Frazier (Tony) and brother, James Alexander. Nieces and nephews: Casey, Tiffany, Pam, Chris, Kim, Chelsea, Kamora, Kaleb and Raelyn. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and bonus grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her baby brother, Randy Alexander, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Ollie Smith, her father Mr. James Alexander and her mother Myrtice Lee James.
We had a wonderful out pour of love and would like to express how much we enjoyed hearing the experiences everyone has shared with our mother. We are touched to know she was loved so greatly. Thank you.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2PM at Summer Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Hargrow, eulogist. Visitation will be Saturday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 2PM-7PM.
