Octavius Marshun McDougal was born to Detrich Cason Mickens and Dexter Bernard McDougal (Dorothy) in Adel, Georgia on May 27,1990. Octavius attended Brooks County School for his education.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dexter McDougal, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; four small girls that he adored, Taylen McDougal, Kaylen McDougal, Kelani McDougal, and Nyomai McDougal; a brother, Christopher Cason from Crisp County, GA; six sisters, lesha McDougal from Quitman, GA, Sandricka (Zachary) Virgil from Valdosta, GA, Kamesha Cason from Valdosta, GA, Taylor Clark from Crestview, FL, Destiny Brown (Lamar) from Alabama, Shameria McDougal from Valdosta, GA, Javessa McDougal from Valdosta, GA, Tymeshia Tillman from Valdosta, GA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Home going services will be Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 3PM at Bethel AME Church with Pastor Renee G. Theophille, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
