~Obituary~

Marty Christian was born on January 3, 1960, to the late Theodore and Eunice Christian. He graduated from Brooks County High School in Quitman, GA in 1978. He was a member of Rose City Church of Christ under the leadership of Minister Clay L. Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law MC McKinney. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother-in-law Ernestine McKinney of Cairo, GA.

One sibling preceded him in death the late Rosa Byrd.

Marty leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Stephanie Christian of Thomasville GA, his three sons Marty Christian Jr., (Sade) of Atlanta GA, Martell Christian of Atlanta GA and Marcus Christian of Thomasville GA. Grandchildren: Marianna Christian, Ashton Collins, Caiden B Rogers and Trinity A Christian. Two brothers: Larry (Vernita) Christian of Dixie GA, Allen (Diane) Christian of Lawrenceville GA, Five sisters: Doris Head of Barney GA, Patricia A. Christian of Dixie GA, Gloria A Christian of Valdosta GA, Sandra (Willie) Presley of Albany GA, Linda M. Edwards of Morven GA. Sister & Brother-in-laws: Tony McKinney and Monique Haywood, both of Camilla, GA. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1PM at the North End Cemetery with Pastor Solomon Edwards, Jr., eulogist. Continue to keep the family in your daily thoughts and prayers.
