The Obituary
Linda Faye Williams was born on January 17, 1954 in Charlton County to the late Joe Dann Milton Sr. and Leola Milton of Folkston, GA. She was a 1972 graduate of Charlton County High school in Folkston Georgia. After graduating high school, she used her creative talents as a seamstress, making wedding dresses, suits, countless quilts and all sorts of clothing and alterations for her family and clients. She was a devoted member of Original Holiness Church in Folkston, GA.
She met the love of her life, Ben Williams, and got married in 1984 and eventually settled in Boston, GA. She was affectionately known by her family members as Faye. She loved to be surrounded by family and children. During the summers she would have up to 10 of her nieces and nephews stay over in addition to her 6 kids. She enjoyed having a house full and cooking large meals and hosting bible studies with the entire family and visitors. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke. As a devout Christian, in her alone time she would often be found reading her bible, singing, praying, and praising the Lord. Even through her sickness and hardships, her faith never wavered. She was admired for her strength and spirituality. A loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, friend, and woman of God. Linda will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin F. Williams Sr., brothers William B. Milton, Joe D. Milton Jr., Abrahm Milton, Johnny G. Milton, and sister Shirley A. Hannans.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Benjamin Williams II (Andree), Atlanta, GA Joseph Williams (Dawn), Boston, GA, Jacob Williams (Decatur, GA), Jillian Williams (McDonough, GA), Julian Williams (Decatur, GA) and Joshua Williams (Decatur); step daughters, Rachel Paytee, McDonough, GA and Dr. Joy Bakari (Dr. DaShawn), Atlanta, GA; God son, Roger Ingram; God daughter, Crystal Ingram; adopted son, Dwight Williams; adopted daughter, Henrietta Robinson; brother, Norris Milton Sr., (Folkston, GA); sisters, Patricia Ingram (Folkston, GA), Cathy Lewis (Folkston, GA); grandchildren, McKenzie, Leila, Ziah, Mason, and Madison and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
