On September 8, 2024, God called his angel home, Mrs. Kejanna Newsome Hughley of Valdosta, Georgia.

Mrs. Kejanna Newsome Hughley was preceded in death by her late mother-in-law, Eria Mae Hughley; brothers, Greg Ford and Roger Newsome.

Mrs. Kejanna Newsome Hughley is survived by her husband, Alan Hughley; parents, Deacon Wesley Newsome, Sr. and Pastor Mary Lee Newsome; siblings, brother-in-law James Lee Hughley, sister-in-law Cindy Dennis (Larry), and sister-in-law Betty Young, Pastor Shirley Spencer (Deacon Irvin Spencer), Kenneth Williams, Sr. (Shelia), Shelly Williams (Curtis), Bridget Holmes, Tammy Gainer (Juan Sr.) Robert Brown, Charles Bowen, Betty Bowen Carter (Adrain), Wesley Newsome, Jr., Bridgett Newsome Mitchell (Darrick), Jerry Newsome, Critia McNeir, Carolina Johnson (the late Kevin Johnson), Mildred Murphy (Elara), Markcus Newsome (Latoya), and Rafeal Newsome; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends including her best friend, Tarah James.
