Obituary For Jonathon Vicks

Jonathon Vicks was born to the parents of Thelma Washington and John Vicks. He attended Brooks County schools. Better known to his family and friends by the nickname "Rocc," he was very outgoing and truly loved by everyone. Rocc easilly became the family's favorite cousin, the cling) brother, the special child, and the funny friend He gained his wings on May 13, 2024.

Jonathon was preceded in death by his son, Jace three aunts, Christina, MaryAnn, and Pinkie Washington; four uncles, Larry, Booker T. Richard, and Jerry Washington; grandparent: Jerry and Ernestine Washington, and John Vick., Sr.; a cousin, Sherrod Leonard; and friend, Leon "Pooh" Thomas.

He leaves to mourn: his children, JaKase Antonio oyal Nasir, and Kalani Sarai, bonus son, Ayden; mother and father, Thelma Washington and John Vicks, Jay siblings, Sh nika Washington, Thomas Evans, Ir. (Gynthial, Shiquesha Barnes (Travis, fullisa Vicks, Thakaro Washington, John Vicks, Johntorious Vicks, Deordrick Gosier, Jontavien Vicks, and Sierra Davis; five aunts, Kimberly Washington, Dale Washington, Felicia Davis (Calvin), and Sheila and Lillie Williams (Curtis: live uncles, Frank Washington (Shirley), Fames Washington, Floyd Washington, and Greg and James Washington; i special friend, Tanisha Williams a special uncle, Elton Willams; best friend, Demetrius Brinson, Gregory Turner, Jay Brown, and Omar Neloms; dose cousins, Ernestine Washington and Ashley Evansg and a host of other lamily and friends. He will be truly missed.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2-7PM.

Home going service will be Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 3PM at Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Huewitt, officiating. Burial will follow in Simmon Hill Church Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the service.
