He leaves to cherish: his wife, Sandra L Pitts; eight stepchildren; and two special grandkids, Ashton and Amylah Thompson; sisters and brothers, Gwendolyn, Bobby Milton of Valdosta, Georgia, Wilma, Carlton Bateman of Adel, Georgia, Patricia, Robert Newsome of Adel, Georgia, Eugene, Jr., Tamekia Woods of Port Saint Lucy, Florida, Christopher, Ashley Woods of Tampa, Florida, Christian Wood of Tifton, Georgia, Darrel, Peggy Mays of Valdosta, Georgia, Daine, James Coxfeild of Valdosta, Georgia; Andrea, Wayne Inman of Valdosta, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Mary Alice Tippins (Frank), Angela Moore, Cathryn (Frank) McGriff, and Cynthia Blum; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and sorrowful friends; one special uncle, Connell Lofty of Adel, Georgia; four special friends, Angela Moore Gregory Boyd of Adel, Georgia, Willie Frank Hewitt of Adel, Georgia, and Joseph Hewitt of Adel, Georgia.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1PM at Miracle Temple Church in Adel, GA with Rev. Wade McCrae, officiating. Burial will follow in the Adel City Cemetery. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration on Saturday.
