Obituary For Deborah Goss

Deborah Deloris Goss was born on Wednesday, May 13, 1964, in Quitman, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert Goss and the late Mrs. Shirley Harris Goss. Deborah was the eldest of nine children. She received her education in the Brooks County Georgia School System, where she graduated in 1982.

Deborah received the Holy Ghost at an early age and was a faithful member of Zion Temple Church of God in Unity in Quitman, GA.

Deborah also enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a devoted caregiver for her mother. In 2015, after her mother's passing, she relocated to California to be closer to her sisters. There she joined Acts Full Gospel Church under the leadership of Pastor Bob Jackson.

In 2021, Deborah started attending Refreshing Life Praise Cathedral after relocating to New Jersey to live out the remainder of her life around family and friends. On Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, the Lord called His faithful servant home to rest.

Left to cherish her loving memories: her three brothers, Terry (Patricia) Goss of Miami, FL, Kelvin Goss of Thomasville, GA, and Derrick (Angela) Goss of Thomasville, GA; two sisters, Gloria (Shelton) Cummings of California, and Sharon Goss of Mt. Laurel, NJ; a special nephew, Kendrick Goss; a special great-niece, Serenity Goss of Valdosta, GA; two very special aunts, Ethel and Cynthia Harris of Mt. Laurel, NJ; and a host of sorrowing relatives and friends. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11AM at Zion Temple Church. Burial will follow in North End Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
