Mr. Booker T. Little, Sr, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on April 6, 2025, entering eternal rest. He was born on February 22, 1931, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thomas Little.
Booker spent his life in Quitman, Georgia, where he built a legacy of love, integrity, and service. A dedicated worker, he retired from the City of Quitman after many years of faithful service. Many will remember seeing him riding his bicycle all over town, always with purpose and presence. He was a man of quiet strength, known for always lending a helping hand whenever he was able. Whether he was catching up on the latest news or enjoying the simple joy of being with his family, Booker found happiness in the things that mattered most.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosa Lee Little, and all his siblings.
Booker leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Willie Little (Mary), Booker Little Jr., Larry Little, Dorothy Little, Sharon Brown (Kenneth), and Veronica Chappel (James). His memory will also be cherished by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
His kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11AM at Friendship AME Church with Rev. Floyd Demps, officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
