Alan was big in the Trojan Community. He loved football, being on the golf course, hanging with his friends and fishing. He loved his great nieces and Grandchikdren. A lot of you all know him as Coach Grip, but having him as a coach and dad was a blessing. Seeing him as a Papa was even more a blessing. Alan was a big jokester, he would pull jokes on us kids down to the nursing home staff, which he pulled a joke so good they got a physic doctor to do an evaluation on him. Ps. He was cleared. He was a loving and caring man. Someone who will be dearly missed.
A note from Alan’s daughter and son. Alan showed us love and support. He taught us how to play golf, guided us, and was always there for us when we needed him. He was not only our dad but our best friend. He is in the hands of God, watching down on us. We all love you. Deceased December 18, 2023.
Continue to keep the family in your daily thoughts and prayers.
Grip was one of my dad's best friends. His love for football 🏈 and the sport itself brought them together. I can see them all now (dad) & (Marvin) all debating this upcoming Georgia vs FSU game.... It's a heated debate 😂
He will be missed. Prayers to you and your family during this difficult holiday. I am always one phone call away.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
