Gary L. O’Keefe, 73, of Palm Beach Gardens passed away unexpectedly Dec. 3, 2020. He is survived by his only child, Heather Lee O’Keefe. Gary loved looking at photo albums of him and his daughter and their golden retrievers. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and running his businesses. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, yacht captain, and successful entrepreneur. Most will remember him as “Captain Gary” and/or "Doctor Klear." He is known as the man who could outdo Mr. T when it came to wearing flashy jewelry or Fabio for his long gray hair blowing in the wind when he was behind the helm. His daughter will remember him as the best dad in the world. Due to the COVID pandemic, there will not be a formal funeral service. A private celebration of life service will be held for family.

Although I never met you, when Gary called to tell me Max passed he told me of you. He was so elated to proudly tell me about his beautiful smart daughter. I am shocked and saddened at his passing. I spoke to him only a few days of his passing. I am so thankful he found you & was able to spend time with you. God bless you & I wish you beautiful things in life. Arlissa

Dear Heather, Sometimes life is not always fair as I lost a brother years back. I offer my sincerest condolences and prayers for you. May you Dad be in a much better place than all of us. If I I had once advice, cherish the moments you spent with him and cherish the life he chose to live. Much love, Jethro
