Lloyd Henry Saunders

Dad, you have no idea how much you are missed. You are the only family who has never abandoned me. You always helped me learn about the Lord, kept me in prayer, talked me through my faults, and celebrated my wins. Your daily texts are missed as are your "ain't nothing" response when I asked how you were doing. I miss going to Golden Corral with you, I haven't been back since. You were one of my best friends. I love you, and miss you dearly. I hope I continue to be the man you always believed I could be. I hope to never let you down. Miss you Dad.

Uncle Skinny will never be forgotten. Such a lovely man has finally been called to his resting place with the Lord.

The world, and Olde Towne, were made better for Skinny's life. He was a friend and helper to so many. We will miss him. Robert and Susan Taylor Hansen and family

Blessings to the family of our dearly departed brother. Lloyd went by a few names, however he was "Deek" or "Uncle Skinny" to me. He was my best friend and "Road Dog" since 1993. He loved the Lord, his family, and the Redskins! Deacon Saunders was a gifted painter, along with his brother Paul, they kept Old Town Portsmouth looking good! Deek was quick with a smile, good for a story, and enjoyed a good prank whether he was giving or receiving. To the family, I have not met all of you but know Deek was family to me. He is beyond this world of pain and that was something he knew too well. Rest well my brother in the comfort of the Lord.
