Ms. Maya Kiana Stafford 28 of Ashburn, Ga. transitioned this life Friday 13th at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Ga.

Services will be held Thursday on October 19th at Southview Mortuary Chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Discourse by Brother Michael Davis, and a repast will follow at the Leroy Rogers Center.

Maya Leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Roosevelt and Audrey Stafford of Ashburn, Ga., her children, Aubre' Jordyn Bateman and Allaya Jo Smith both of Ashburn, Ga., her siblings, Alesha Office (Terry), Tanyanna Walker (Chad), London S. Stafford, Kanika Ewing (Demeteris) all of Ashburn, Ga. and her grandparents, Peggy Moore and Henry Howard II, both of Ashburn, Ga., a special nephew, Corbin Sanders, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Amazing young lady. One I will never forget. I will never forget your smile and that fast talking you did. Cause boy you could go. Maya always told me I inspired her, but what she didn't know is she inspired me more. Maya never settled and always wanted more, her dreams was big and she was determined to have everything she wanted in life. When I worked with Maya during her last pregnancy,I came to know a beautiful soul! Who loved her daughter Aubre so much. She always said, "I love Aubre so much! She is my best friend!" She talked about how this baby would be her girly girl! Because Aubre was like her, a tomboy. She was so proud of Aubre! Maya was so excited about Allaya! I remember the text I received when she was born! Perfect princess! Maya loved beyond words, her family! Especially her Daddy! Always talking about him helping her and guiding her. Her Moma was her rock! She loved her so much! Her whole family was her life! I never had that! What a wonderful life! In less than 2 yrs I learned about her struggles and who supported her and who didn't! Watched her buy a Michael Kors purse for her Moma! She loved so much ❤️ I only had 2 years with her and she changed me! I felt her pain and she felt mine. We shared our experiences and we both suffered. When I watched her struggle it broke my heart! I hugged her so tightly our last day of working together! I told her I loved her and she was going to get through this! She fought for hard, so very hard, for so very long! She is so special and so strong! Beautiful lady is now resting!
