On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, God called home one of his most precious angels, Ms. Martha Jo West (83). She was born on November 2, 1939 to the parentage of the late Ned Mack Anderson and Ena Mae Rice in Nashville, GA. She was employed with Nashville Mills and Mr. and Mrs. N.G. Houston, III for over 50 years. She was a member of Norton Temple Church where she served faithfully until her health declined. Mother Martha will truly be missed by all. She was such a caring and loving individual. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie James West, her parents, siblings, Ned, Leroy, Charles Anderson, and Pearlie Mae Davis. She leaves her children memories her children, Kenneth (Susan) West, Kent (Patty) West both of Nashville, GA, her step-son, Tommy L. West of West Palm Beach, Fla., her siblings, James (Shawanna) Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa Anderson, Patricia Anderson, Pearlene Daniels, and Lois Ross, her grandchildren, Nekita L. West, Kenneth L. West Jr., Chaztan (Milli) West, Jermaine (Daphney) Cooper, and Kenyatta (Jeffery) West, her extended family, N.G. Houston (deceased), Penny Houston, Adam (Maranda) Houston, Bo (Joli) Houston, Lowery (Charlie) May, Frank Swanson, her special nieces, Renee Robinson, Veronica McCormick, Phronia McCormick, Willie Pearl Clark, Emma Lou Manning, Megan Anderson, Melissa, Charlotte, Rose Manning and Hellen Hill, her special nephews, Jermaine Anderson, David Clark, Tommy Clark, and Eddie Russell, her special cousins, Sharee Marshall, Gary Lissmore, Sheree Rockmore, Deadrea Collier and Kenny, her special friends, Brenda Smith, Katrina Ryan, Pamela Deberry, Gail Smith Moore, Amy White, and Carolyn Powell, her best friend, Ms. Mary Hobbs and many more loving relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Church, 900 MLK Dr., Nashville, GA. Committal will follow in Westview Cemetery.
