Peggy Sue Bexley Miller was born on August 6, 1939, in Bremen, Georgia to Arthur Arnell Bexley and Mary Francis Drummond. She took her wings and flew to heaven on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Peggy received her formal education by attending school in her local hometown. She was wed to the late Allen Monah Rowe on August 24, 1958, and they moved to Florida in 1959. Peggy eventually met the love of her life, Horace Miller, and they were wed on September 17, 1987. They lived a happy life with lots of love until Deacon Horace Miller took his wings on February 11, 2002. Even after Deacon Miller’s death, Peggy continued to live a happy life filled with lots of love, laughter, and that beautiful smile. Peggy worked along with her late husband, Deacon Horace Miller, as general private domestic cleaners for many years, extending their services in the cleaning industry to the areas of Clearwater Beach, Clearwater Point Condo, Island Estates and eventually serving the Feather Sound Homestead area, until she decided to retire.
Peggy was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was ordained as a Deaconess, by Reverend Dr. LeRoy Howard, while her husband the late Deacon Horace Miller served as a Deacon. Peggy served faithfully at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church for many years, until her death. She held several positions, including Number Two Ward Leader, Choir Treasurer, and Singer for the Senior Male Chorus and President of the Deaconess Board.
