Obituary For Lucille Brown

Lucille P. Brown was born October 2, 1946, in Dunedin, Florida to Florine and Roley Parks.

At the age of eight, she gave her life to the Lord on March 19, 1954, under Reverend Harrison at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Lucille served on the Usher Board, sang in the choir, and attended Sunday School and BTU. She also helped in the kitchen, cleaned the church, and served as a deaconess.

Lucille attended Chase Memorial, Pinellas High School, Adult Night Class, and St. Petersburg Junior College. She was employed as a domestic housekeeper and cleaned hotels and courthouses.

Lucille also worked as a credit union reporter along with working at Mease Hospital as a patient caretaker, Square D for 17 ½ years, and was a plant operator at JFK for two ½ years.

Lucille P. Brown transitioned from this life for eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Brown, son: Terrance Lakeith Brown, parents: Florine and Roley Parks, brothers: Alonzo Parks, Roley Parks, Jr. (Brenda) sisters: Mary Magdalene “Katie” Cowart and Grace Hembree.

She leaves to cherish her memories…

Daughter: Karla Elizabeth Brown

Brother: Mathew Jerome Parks

Sisters: Patricia Ann Clark, LeDrilla Jenkins (Wallace), and Nancy Elaine Cowart

Grandchildren: Christina R. Hill, Alicia M. Hill, Ebony Lavern Hill, Shanise Latoya Hill, Terrance Lavonta Brown, Damion Perry, Kaleb Lachai' Lewis, and Kaden Elijah Shorter.

Great-grandchildren: Troy Perry, Kobi Perry, and Morrigan Barber

A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
