I love and miss my dad, but I know he is with our father God. I am so happy for the time I spent with you. It was amazing that we got a chance to spend time with you the night before you passed. You would sing The Love of Jesus will Carry you and Fight on Christians Fight on. So I say to all of you The Love of Jesus will carry you and Fight on Christians Fight on.

If you don't know Jesus as your personal Savior. Today is the day to give your life to Him.

Say Jesus I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I come to you asking you to save me. You said if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God has raised him from the dead, we shall be saved. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that God has raised Him from the dead, so I am saved. God forgive me of all of my sins. I love you and praise you, amen.

I was saddened to hear of Charles's transition to his new home. Although I'd known him all of my life I really got a chance to interact with him on a daily basis when we both worked at Duff-Norton. I never saw him get angry or lose control although there were times he may have wanted to. He loved Mary Jo, his children and his family, but most of all he loved God. His love for God showed in his singing, preaching, teaching and his daily walk. The songs he'd sing as a choir member at Sandy Ridge have really resonated with me this week as I cherished his memory. Mary Jo, Bren and the entire Sturdivant family are in my prayers and my condolences and love are with you all.
