Ollie Teal was born on February 13, 1933 to the late Lilly and Fletcher Teal in Anson County, North Carolina. She was called from her earthly life to be present with the Lord on April 20, 2024.
Ollie confessed Christ at an early age.
Ollie was employed at Holiday Inn as a Housekeeper until her health declined.
Ollie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and putting a smile on everyone’s face. She was so full of life.
Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Lilly and Fletcher Teal. Her two sisters, Catherine Lindsey and Dorothy Teal. Her three brothers, Sylvester, James and C.T. Teal. Her four children, Mamie, Diane, James and Arriak Teal. Her three grandchildren, Virginia, Terrell and Carolyn Teal. Her one great-great grandson, Jamal Smith.
Ollie leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Chery Teal, Brenda Teal and Catherine Burch (James) all of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Her sister, Raynett Teal of Baltimore, Maryland. Her grandchildren: Cindy, Ametra, Kendra, Damien, Trayon, Courtney, Daniel, Ronnie and Angela all of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Her twenty-nine (29) great grandchildren and fourteen (14) great great grandchildren. Among her grandchildren she had a special bond with three of them they held a special place in her heart, Lisa (Kenneth), Kenny (Jennette) and Debra. Two special men whom she considered as sons, Timothy Marshall and Donnie Smith. A special niece, Shirley Teal and a special friend, Edna Merritt.
A host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The Services to Celebrate Mother Teal will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024, 11:00am, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Polkton, North Carolina.
