MRS. JUANITA LINTON MEDLEY

Mrs. Juanita Linton Medley was born February 10, 1936 to the late Maso Walker and Annie Jane Linton. She peacefully entered the Gates of Heaven on November 17, 2017 at her residence. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Red Hill Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her demise. She served as President of the Missionary Department. She attended the public schools of Anson County and retired from Pilgrim’s Pride in Marshville, NC She was united in Holy Matrimony to Snow Medley Jr. He preceded her in death after 36 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were three sons, Lozon Medley, Larry Medley and Snow Thomas Medley III; one daughter, Rev. Bertha Medley and two brothers, William Linton and Volonzo Linton. Left to cherish her memories two sons, Samuel Medley of the home and Don (Jenny) Medley of Lilesville, NC; five daughters, Clara Thomas of Wadesboro, NC, Vera (Eric) Smith of Wadesboro, NC, Juanita Medley of the home, Cender (Danny) Gore of Lilesville, NC and Sandra (Rickey) Spencer of Wadesboro, NC. Twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. Two special friends, Rebecca Kirby and Mary Anna Ford both of Wadesboro, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration to honor the life and legacy of Mother Medley was held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 12:00 noon, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Burial followed in the family plot of the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
