Obituary For Mr. Warren Allen

Mr. Warren Keith Allen, lovingly known as “Bo Pete”, was born September 2, 1972 in Anson County to Rosa Lee (Ruther Mae Skeen) Allen and the late Joe Alex Ledbetter. He was called to rest in the early hours of October 12, 2023 at his residence.

Bo confessed Christ at an early age. He received his formal education in the Anson County Schools and was a graduate of Anson Senior High School, Class of 1991. He was employed by H2H blinds as a Lead Installation Specialist. He was a heck of a blind installer and was proud of his accomplishments at H2H.

Bo was preceded in death by four daughters: Labria Davis, twins Myasia and Myjasia Allen and Denetra Allen; grandparents, Edgar Ledbetter and Mary Lee Clark Ledbetter, Johnny “Skeet” Allen and Rosezetta Davis Allen; brother, Mark Alexander Allen; and special uncle, Walter Ray Ledbetter.

Bo loved kids and never met a stranger. He treated people like he wanted to be treated. He loved to cook and enjoyed feeding his family and friends. Bo could cook anything: rabbits, squirrels, deer, fish; you name it, Bo could and would cook it. He loved to travel and visit family and friends.

Bo loved his beautiful wife and his baby girl. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for either of them. Everything he said he wanted to do and give his wife and daughter, he did it! Bo was an amazing and dutiful father. When you saw Bo, you saw Heaven. She was ALWAYS calling her daddy. Their father-daughter conversation usually was:

Heaven-Where you at daddy?

Bo-Why, what you want?

Heaven-Come pick me up.

Bo-Baby, I’m coming.

Bo leaves to cherish all his beautiful memories, his loving and devoted wife and best friend of 28 years, Demetria Siobhan Ingram Allen, his “mini me”, his twin, the light of his life, and daddy’s girl, Heaven both of the home; mother, Rosa Lee (Ruther Mae Skeen) Allen of Wadesboro, NC; four sisters: Carolyn Allen Benson of Indian Trail, NC, Cassandra (Anthony) Grace of Wadesboro, NC, Lisa Allen of Wadesboro, NC and Bertha Allen Carter of Lilesville, NC; one brother, Thomas Eugene Allen of Wadesboro, NC; godchildren, Kevionna “Sugafoot” Clark and Jaden Treshawn Allen; special god brother, Darryl Simon of Wadesboro, NC; mother-in-law, Betty Ingram of Ansonville, NC; father-in-law, Robin Gaines of Norwood, NC; brothers-in-law, Marcus Ingram of Ansonville, NC and Shaun (Desiree) Gaines of Charlotte, NC; sisters-in-law, Shania Gaines of Norwood, NC, Shannon (Johnathan) Ford of Concord, NC and Shariah Gaines of Norwood, NC. A host of aunts and uncles who loved him dearly, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, October 22, 2023, 2:00pm, Smith’s Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow at Fairview Church Of God Cemetery, Burnsville Community, Polkton, North Carolina.
