Obituary For MR. RALPH ANTHONY JOHNSON

Mr. Ralph Anthony Johnson, son of Rosa Johnson and Charlie Jones was born on August 11, 1968 in Queens, New York. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday morning, October 19, 2016 at his residence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ralph, was fondly called “Anthony” by many. He attended Ebenezer in Denver, North Carolina. Anthony enjoyed drawing and talking. He was a true joker. He loved to make you laugh and always enjoyed being with his family and friends.

To cherish his memories he leaves three sons, Requan S. M. Lilly of Virginia, Jerell D. Johnson of North Carolina and Justin L. Johnson (Rachelle) of North Carolina; two twin granddaughters, Madison M. Lee and McKenizee M. Lee both of North Carolina. Two sisters, Cecelia M. Johnson of North Carolina and Gwendolen M. Johnson of North Carolina; two nieces, Shaquanna T Johnson and Sherika S. Anthony; one nephew, Darius B. Johnson.

One great aunt, Callie Mae Ratliff of Texas; three aunts, Hattie McCullough, Kathleen Johnson (Gregory) and Mary F. Pratt (Larry); three uncles, Lee Thomas Johnson (Arlene), Ross Streater (Kathy) and Jay Streater (Margaret). A host of cousins and friends. A special family, Drita Simmons (Nana), Chantal Simmons (Shay), Chantell, Jeremy, London McCall.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Burial followed in the family plot of the Galilee AME Zion Church Cemetery, McFarlan, North Carolina.
