Michael Melton, lovingly known as “Ink”, was born to the late Lee Rogers Melton and Florine Melton on August 08, 1973. God saw fit to call Michael home on April 18, 2022 at his home.
Michael attended the public schools of Anson County. He was once employed at TGM Industries.
Michael loved to fish and he loved people. He was funny, caring, entertaining and was always the life of the party. Michael lived and enjoyed his life. He loved cooking, shopping, his sneakers, loud music and his dog, Oreo; but, most of all he loved his family and friends.
Michael leaves a friendly, loving memory to his Mother, Florine Melton of Wadesboro, NC; two sisters, Rachel Melton and Yolanda (Michael) Sanders both of Morven, NC; three nieces, Octavia Howard and Jakia Melton both of Morven, NC and Jaquavia Melton of Monroe, NC; four nephews, Cortney Melton of Wadesboro, NC, Cortavious Johnson and Michael Sanders Jr. both of Morven, NC and Mi’Kerion Smith of Chesterfield, SC; a special friend, Laura Jean Wilson of Cheraw, SC; Grandmother Christine Marshall of Morven, NC; ten aunts, Cathleen Marsh of Chesterfield, SC, Wanda (Ernest) Chambers, Lee Doris (Charles) Lindsey, Doris Brown, Florence Marshall, Paulette McFarlan, and Marie Polk all of Morven, NC, Betty Marshall, Evelyn (Ellis) Covington and Phyllis (Billy) McLendon all of Wadesboro, NC; three uncles, Larry Melton of Wadesboro, NC, James (Barbara) Melton and his favorite uncle, Charles Marshall (whom he fondly called Jack Rabbit) both of Morven, NC. Although Michael did not have children, he helped rear several children: Demetria Wilson, Lakavia Wilson, Barron Wright, Demarcus Stacks, Sharika Fuller, Shabrika Fuller, Kne’asia Wilson, Crystal Osborne, Samirra Bennett, Laquenton Baker and a host of family and friends.
