Obituary For Mr. Michael Alfred Wiggins

Mr. Michael Alfred Wiggins of Wadesboro, North Carolina departed this life on July 24, 2023 at his home.

Michael was born to Willie Wiggins Sr. and Daisy Bell Wiggins of Wadesboro, North Carolina on February 3, 1957.

At an early age, Michael confessed Christ and became a member of Ramsey Chapel Church of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Michael received his education from the Anson County Schools. He graduated from Bowman Senior High School in the year of 1975.

Throughout his life, Michael was employed with Wansona of Wadesboro, North Carolina, Square D of Monroe, North Carolina, Coca Cola of Monroe, North Carolina and J.J. Haines & Company of Wadesboro, North Carolina.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Wiggins Sr. and Daisy Wiggins.

Michael leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Delisa Wiggins of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Two sons, Mario Smith (Doletha) of Concord, North Carolina and Michael Jalen Wiggins (Shamicka) of Wesley Chapel, North Carolina. One daughter, Ashli Wiggins (Shaquena) of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Five grandchildren, Terrence Little, Denisha Little, Mario Smith, Marcus Smith and Jaylani Wiggins. Two brothers, Willie Wiggins Jr. (Anita) of Wadesboro, North Carolina and John David Wiggins (Pastor Cindy Wiggins) of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Three sisters, Barbara Kersey (Lemanel) of Wadesboro, North Carolina, Margaret Wiggins of Maple Heights, Ohio and Sandra Wiggins of Wadesboro, North Carolina. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, 2:00pm in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be at Westview Memorial Park, Wadesboro, NC.

The Wiggins Family will greet family 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour on Wednesday.

The public viewing will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 3:30-5:30pm.
