Obituary For Mr. Jimmy Lee Cash

MR. JIMMY LEE CASH, son of the late Roy and Johnsie Mae “Polly” Watson Cash was born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina on November 9, 1959. He departed this life on December 16, 2022 at Johns Island Post Acute Hospital, Johns Island, South Carolina.

Jimmy attended public school in Chesterfield, South Carolina, graduating with the Class of 1978.

Jimmy gave his life to Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He worked at Hinson’s Supermarket for many years.

In addition to his parents, Roy and Polly Cash, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Cash and sisters, Letha Mae Cash and Eva Mae Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory, a loving daughter, Sherry Liles of Morven, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Paul Long, Zaliyah Liles, London Liles, Madison Liles and Abraham Sharper.

Three sisters, Deloris Norton, Evelyn Johnson and Teresa (Ricky) Little. Three brothers: Gary (Stephanie) Cash, Aaron Cash and Lennis (Merita) Cash. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who loved him dearly.

The Homegoing Services will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Cash Family Plot, Galilee AME Zion Church Cemetery, McFarlan, North Carolina.

The Cash Family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 12:30-1:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.

The public viewing will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 3:00-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
