Anthony Eugene Little (Amp or Tony as he was called) was born on April 22nd, 1955, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Betty Ingram. He was adopted and raised by the late Katherine Ingram Little. He transitioned from his earthly body to his spiritual body on Friday, January 13th, 2023, at Atrium Health in Monroe, North Carolina.
Anthony attended the public schools of Anson County and was a graduate of Bowman Senior High, Class of 1973 where he played basketball and was a star player. He also was an amazing singer and enjoyed busting out a tune every now and then.
He worked in the labeling department at Tyson Foods and retired in 2020.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Rose Marie Smith on March 24, 2013.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Ingram and Katherine Little; siblings, Georgia Bell Little and Oscar Robinson and grandson, Kaderrick Little.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Rose Marie Smith Little of the home. Sons, Derrick Little (Camellia) of Wadesboro, NC, Fredrick Little (Terry) of Monroe, NC, and Marcus Liles (Brandi) of Wadesboro, NC. Two stepdaughters from his union with Rose Marie, Jasmine and Kira Hannah of Aberdeen, NC. Nine grandchildren: Makayla Little, CaMya Little, Teyona Little, Fredrick Little Jr., Tamia Little, Markevius Bittle, Gerkeyah Richardson, Makayla Richardson and August Covington; one great grandchild, Kaiden Bittle. Two sisters, Bettie Little (Charles) of Houston, Texas and Ollie Cook Little of Lake View, Alabama. Two brothers, Kenny Little (Alyce) of Newark, New Jersey and Samuel Little of Winston-Salem, NC. A host of nieces and nephews; a special nephew, Oscar Ratliff; cousins, relatives and many friends.
The Homegoing Services will be on Thursday, January 19, 2023, 3:00pm, Believers Christian Center Church, 925 South Main Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in The Little Family Plot, Westview Cemetery, Henry Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
The Little Family will greet family and friends on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:30-3:00pm at Believers Christian Center Church.
The public viewing for Mr. Little will be on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 3:15-5:15pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
