Ann Carolyn Jones Prince, 91, was called to glory on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at her home in Danville, KY. Carolyn was born in April 30, 1933 to Jesse and Sonora Jones.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Sonora Jones, her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Ann βDebbieβ Prince.
She was educated in the Bate School System while attending High School she was a member of the cheerleading squad, 1951 Bate School Homecoming Queen and graduated in 1951. She was baptized and became a member of First Baptist Danville. She married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Prince and to this union a daughter Debbie was born.
Carolyn retired from Corning Glass/Phillips Lighting Co. She later graduated from Fugazi Business College, Lexington, KY. Carolyn, was the secretary at Smith-Jackson Funeral Home and was an asset to the business.
She is survived by her many cousins, her cat βBuddyβ, also her many friends.
Such a beautiful lady.
Ms. Carolyn was such a wonderful person, and will be missed by the Danville community. Heaven has gained two angels -- Carolyn and Debbie.
