Andre planted 5 trees in memory of Luther Edward Echols, Sr. . - April 16, 2025
Luther was one of God's honorable mention. When the Late Charles Echols was sick, Luther brought him juices of all kind, crackers and soup. He left money for any other needs. I will forever be grateful to him, Tom, Anita, Mary Leggett! My forever family. God bless his memories and his family.
Please accept this eternal gift. One tree stands in honor of Adrian, united forever with Luther. The four additional trees represent the strength and bond of the siblings—Luther Jr., Terrence, Zanita, and Laura—rooted in love and remembrance. A.Mays & Family
My Dear Cousin news of your transition was a shock. However, I realized that we all must /should be ready when our number is called. I am grateful for the times we share. Many times when you came to Bassfield you would always stop by just to say hi. To your family I offer my sincere condolences. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that God is only a prayer away and He will strengthen and guide you going the difficult days, weeks, and months to come. Cherish the memories. Sincerely Cousin Joyce E.Shorts Sprouse

You were by far one of THE COOLEST MEN I have ever known. The way you could weave a story and keep us all hanging on every word was nothing short of amazing.
One of my favorite memories is from when you lived in California. I still remember the day you taught me how to swing on the swingset in your backyard. I was so excited, but when I got too high, fear set in, and I screamed for you to come and get me. You rushed over, always ready to be there for me, just like you were for so many others.
What I will miss the most about you is your heart—the way you loved your family was truly inspiring. You were light and salt in our lives, seasoning our moments with your warmth and wisdom, encouraging us to be the best versions of ourselves.
The world feels just a little colder without you here, but I take comfort in knowing the impact you made and the love you shared. Take your rest, Big Cousin. I am praying for your children, grandchildren, and our entire family as we navigate through this immeasurable loss. Your spirit will always remain in our hearts.
