Hollis Nathaniel “Tom” Gatlin May 27, 1939 - August 16, 2020

Hollis Nathaniel “Tom” Gatlin was born May 27,1939 to Kathleen Harris and Emilio Gatlin in Walthall County. On Sunday, August 16, 2020 at approximately 6:30 am God sent one of his Angels from heaven to rescue his child from the turmoil of this world.

Tom was well known for his funny sense of humor and giving of nicknames, He attended Rowley Church early in life.

In his early age, Tom was married to Willie Lee Bullock and to this union four children were born. Later in life Tom married Jurzine Gatlin and became stepfather to two girls.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife Jurzine Gatlin, parents Kathleen and Emilio, Grandmothers Nanny Patterson Gatlin and Fear Owens, Grandfathers Jake Gatlin and Luther Owens, son Tommy Gatlin, daughter Willene Gatlin and Sherlie McGowan, brother Luther Lee, sister Edith Lenoir, brother-in-law John Lenoir, sister-in-law Eddie Ruth Gatlin, and grandsons Willie Gatlin, Jr, Jermaine Gatlin, and Fedarrious Gatlin.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Willie (Veronica) Gatlin and Edward (Janice) Gatlin both of Foxworth, MS, stepdaughter Sharon(Steve) Martin of Foxworth, MS, five granddaughters: Roslyn, Keisha, Sonya, Laneisha, and Courtney, six grandsons: Willis, Timothy, Michael, Michael C, Steve, and Evan, Thirty four great grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
