My deepest sympathies to the Caldwell Family. Known Coach since high school. Always nice and humorous. Zandra Kirkland
To my forever brother! We grew up together next door to each other. You gave me that first spark to play sports and at a very competitive level. We always had a great time talking about anything and everybody, nothing was off limits. Even in your last days, you called me and we talked about sports and laughing to know end on how I could never beat you in Madden or any sports games period. I knew my life long best friend was slowly leaving me, but you fought and stayed positive all the way. You will be truly missed, but never forgotten. Love you and Mom always and forever. To Carmen, Mrs. Caldwell and Family, Darrell will truly be missed. As co-workers at Cleveland Avenue Elementary School, 5th Grade Team, the only man in our group, we shared many highs and lows. He always could come up with a laugh. There are soooo many memories. Working together everyday and sharing our lives for years established our friendship for life. Darrell, smh, I'll miss you, my friend! -Yvette Edwards and Family CAES
My condolences go out to Darrell family and friends you will truly be missed Patricia Burns
Derrell Caldwell will be missed. I first met him as a freshman at Morris Brown College. Darrell would spend his time in between class in our room on the sixth floor of Borders Towers. Billy Barnett, Todd Blackburn and Darrell Caldwell were staples in the Towers. Darrell you and that sky blue Mercedes-Benz were iconic.
