To my family iam deepen saddened bout the passing of uncle whop he lived a long life and loved by many i just love to hear people talk about knowing him any time the mention of McClain family love uncle so much.
To the family, I can't tell you how wonderful your beloved Whop was to our family, the Taft and Talley. Whop had a smile that lit up any room that he entered, and a heart to match. The last time that I saw Whop was at my cousin, Betty Lavender's homegoing service, he had that smile and was blowing kisses. I know that God has His arms wide open welcoming Whop home, because Whop was a great guy who opened his own heart to all. We have shared great stories with my Uncle Pinto of Whop. Those two guys together were amazingly funny. My Grandmother, Annie Taft spoke with Whop regularly, and will miss speaking with her old Jo Johnson friend. He was always there for us all. As you lay him to rest, please know that we are praying for you and with you. Rest in peace Whop, and blow some kisses to a few angels. We loved you, but God loved you more. Tracie Jones Robinson (Donnie Talley's daughter) Robert "Poochie" Talley (Donnie Talley's son)
Granddaddy always had open arms a smile each time I saw him, grandaddy will truly be missed.
To the Family: the book of Ecclesiastes says, "to everything, there is a season a time and a purpose under heaven". On Dec 1, 2020, God chose to transition uncle Charles to heaven. I will always remember his infectious smile that could brighten up a room. I will remember his testimony how he proclaimed to many that God saved him. He would sing it for all to know, that he never would have made it without God. Now, he has made it into the loving arms of Jesus. Stay strong Family, Love you, Vivian Crump Miller
