Obituary For Ms. Deborah Gail Jones

Funeral services for Ms. Deborah Gail Jones, 66, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg. Rev. Nathaniel Bonaparte is officiating.

Ms. Deborah Gail Jones was born August 12, 1956 to Doris Jordan and William Jones in Anderson, South Carolina. Gail worked for Quadco for over 25 years as a welder.

She was a hard worker and very dedicated to her family. She was a kind hearted and peaceful woman, who at times could be very sarcastic and sharp witted. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

Deborah Gail Jones was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenyatta Jones; grandson, Keyonte Jones; brother, William Jones, Jr.; and two sisiters: Frankie Sloan and Dorothy Sloan.

Deborah is survived by her sons: Westley Jones (Christy) of Summerville, SC and Terry Jones of Orangeburg, SC; daughter, Altina Jones (Nathan Thomas) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren: Tiana Jones, Naudia Jones, Naryia Thomas, Kaden Thomas and Kamauri Jones all of Columbia, SC, Italia Jones, Paris Roman (Kevin) of Summerville, SC, D’Layni Jones, Deiondre Jones, Darius Jones of Pueblo, CO; great-granddaughter, Milan Roman of Summerville, SC; four sisters: Barbara Void of Santee, SC, Estella Jones of Columbia, SC, and Meriam Jones of Bridgeport, CT and Glenda Jones-Dargan of Roxboro, NC; one brother, Kenneth Jones of Bridgeport, CT; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
