Funeral services for Ms. Annie Boneparte, 99, of 1770 Sawaga Street, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 2:30pm, Sunday, January 15, 2023, at St. John Baptist Church, 202 St. John Road, Cameron, SC, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Annie βCroshayβ Boneparte, daughter of the late Fannie Moorer and George Moorer was born May 14, 1923. She transitioned on January 9, 2023, at her residence.
At an early age, she joined St. John Baptist Church. She later attended Cornerstone Church, Orangeburg, SC.
Annie Mae was married to Josiah Boneparte for 70 years, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Geneva Boneparte and Edna Holman; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; and three sisters.
She leaves to cherish fond memories; three daughters: Viola Boneparte, who was her caregiver, Emma (Eddie) Grayson and Lucille (Herbert) Kennerly all of Orangeburg, SC; three sons: Joe Boneparte, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC, Thomas Boneparte of Rhode Island and Isaac (Roberta) Boneparte of Virginia; one sister-in-law, Sheldonia Boneparte of New York; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and dear friends. Special thanks to caregivers, Priscilla Young Pelzer and granddaughter Dianne Boneparte as well as Elizabeth Mayes (CAN) and Christine (RN) of Crescent Hospice.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 2:00pm - 6:00pm.
